That’s the bttv stuff. The driver uses some Makefile magic to compile the modules with your kernel’s configuration wrt. You need configured kernel sources to compile the bttv driver. Hey uzik, I’ve had similar problems with getting my TV card up and running properly. There is a mailing list:

I also made sure to include sound drivers for my tv card in the kernel. If you get video but no sound you’ve very likely specified the wrong or no card type. What caused me the problems was that I forgot to run lilo to make sure it was pointing to the newest version of the kernel that I just compiled.
