I am contemplating if I should try and exchange my io2 for something else since I just got it Is this an inherent problem with alesis and drivers? But cubase doesn’t let it do it’s job for some reason – even with the asio4all I can’t pick up anything through it.
I can’t believe that.
Is the Alesis iO2 Express bit USB Audio Interface compatible with windows 10?
Or should I sell the io2 and just go with the Line 6 Guitar Port? You get that effect when cpu is struggling but it’s not, cpu utilization is too low, and you can still hear original signal which doesnt look like it’s stuttering just filled up with noise. I am wondering though what other persistent problems were you having? Here you will see your Alesis alrsis.
I have connected the USB to the PC, disconnected my speakers and mic inputs just in case it was all confused, but to no avail. The more you learn, the easier it gets to figure out these sort of problems.
Have sent an email to their UK support, but haven’t heard anything back Here’s what I’ve done so far: Make sure to allesis or link this thread to help out the support team. I found out about Asio4all a little while ago. How does this make you feel?

Steinberg Cubase Pro 8 bit. Hi all, I just bought an alesis io2 for my athlon64 laptop, and I am having some problems.
First day I am randomly getting full noise in the signal being recorded. Tried a little bit with asio4all and I am not having any problem yet. Thanks for all your help folks. Then I play them back and it’s all noisy of course, few mins at a time, then clean again. I know I had a lot of problems in the beginning as well.
I’ve been trying to setup the io2 as best I can: If you are plugging your speakers into the IO2, then the output should be set up for IO2 as well. Now to alfsis how to use it better.
