Failing to do so causes a mess that’s difficult to resolve. In any case, 3fom drivers are indeed available from the 3COM site and not too difficult to find.
I thought they will be easy to setup like the different cards I have handled in the past, but no way. I had an old 3com NIC card too.

Posted by kah on 6 Jul My solution at the time was to grab the 3 or 4 files from an already-operational PC and just copy them to the PC’s I was working on. The generic username given out to most people is: Not the most professional way to do it but then, they don’t call me “Evil” for nothing. I’ve a pc that a can’t get the drivers to install The 3com support site has drivers and instructions on how to install them for almost every OS Keith.
